I have a little confession to make: I’ve amassed quite the collection of guitar VSTs 😂 It’s a bit amusing because I’m a guitar player and frequently record real guitars for my compositions. However, I often blend these recordings with various guitar VSTs in my compositions. This combination has become one of my favorite techniques.
Most of you are likely familiar with popular guitar VSTs like those from Native Instruments. These are incredible and very useful tools. Today, I want to shed some light on lesser-known libraries that you might find intriguing, especially if you’re looking to add cinematic textures to your compositions. I’ve been using some of these products for many years, while others are new additions that I’m particularly excited about.
While the mainstream options are fantastic, there's a world of hidden gems out there that deserve some attention. Here are a few lesser-known guitar VSTs that I believe can add unique layers and cinematic textures to your music:
